River Trips
One of our favorite trips is heading south on the St Johns river. Usually to a place called Murphy Creek. We dock up to the island there and hike, explore the waterways and just pretty much disconnect.
Murphy Island is a special place for us and we “usually” have the whole island to ourselves when we get here.

Outback crab shack is another stop we used to make before Hurricanes Matthew and Irma finally took it out in a one two punch in 2016-2017.

This Stuffed gator used to greet you at the front door.
Its dock is still intact and I read they are rebuilding as of 2021
Neat thing on the River. This is a fuel tank from the Space shuttle, it never flew and was only used for testing. It has been sitting in Green Cove springs for many years waiting to someday be transported to a museum to be put on display with one of the retired shuttles.
